A Major reason for foul smell in the Vagina is Bacterial Vaginosis
According to WebMD, bacterial vaginosis is a fairly mild infection caused by bacteria. Generally, there’s a balance of both good and bad bacteria within the vagina, and on a basic level, bacterial vaginosis means that balance is upset. It can be caused for a lot of reasons from new sexual activity to not getting enough sleep to douching.

Some of the less common, but more serious complications bacterial vaginosis may lead to include preterm birth for women who are pregnant, sexually transmitted infections, or pelvic inflammatory disease, which could increase the risk of infertility.
